2011 Malibu 23 LSV Gel Coat Repairs and Resurfacing

Customer called us to take care of numerous spots in the gel coat that were damaged while trying to stay within their budget so we were unable to do every single spot, unfortunately. This specific type of boat utilized a solid color base coat - metallic flake - clear gel coat. The clear coat was not to factory specification from the manufacturer so we had to be extra cautious.

2001 Cobalt 262 fiberglass repair and gelcoat restoration

Customer was  hung up in a lock on the Kentucky river. I'm sure that was a crazy experience! Luckily, the only thing injured was the boat!

    2012 Chaparral Gelcoat Restoration

Customer contacted us for a gelcoat restoration and 4 gelcoat repairs to this beauty. Unbeknownst to us, the previous owner had applied a urethane based coating to try and hide the oxidation.

After compounding this area with no results, we began the wet sanding process. As you can see, there is white water present on black gelcoat. This indicates the presence of a coating.

This is after wax stripper had been applied. As you can see, the coating was extremely thick, indicative of numerous coats. It ended up needing stripped a total of 15 times to completely remove this failed product!

    Final Product:

    2012 Cobalt A28

Customer contacted us to remove the bottom paint and refinish the bottom of his 28' Cobalt.
